Schenectady, NY (November 12, 2020) – In compliance with New York Governor Cuomo’s executive order, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s new daily hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The casino had been opened from 8 a.m. until 2 a.m. The new hours of operation will go into effect on Friday, November 13.

Downtime will continue to be used for intensive property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day. All guests are required to wear face coverings (masks).

The Rivers “Sure Bet Sanitized” Team continues to work around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized. In addition to slots throughout the gaming floor, guests are able to play on all of the casino’s table games including craps and roulette. Plexiglass barriers separating slot machines, players, and dealers have been installed for safety, and guests will be required to sanitize their hands before and after play. The casino’s poker room has been converted into a gaming lounge.

The popular Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on all NFL games and other major sporting events. Self-betting kiosks are open during the casino’s regular hours from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily, and manned betting windows are available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Mian, Johnny’s To-Go, and Van Slyck’s are not open at this time. Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open with an enhanced menu, including select favorites from Dukes Chophouse and pizza from Johnny’s To-Go. Villa Italia is open daily from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.  Dukes Chophouse is also open with a limited menu and reduced hours of operation (Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.).

The Landing Hotel is also open and has implemented Rivers Casino’s “Sure Bet Sanitized” cleaning program, along with other new operating procedures in order to comply with, or surpass, the state’s COVID-19 protocols.
