PHILADELPHIA — Sept. 2, 2021 — Start off September with a FREE Labor Day Block Party featuring live music, food trucks, fun games and activities for the entire family. That’s not all—guests can also enjoy an engaging entertainment lineup, dining specials, gaming promotions and more at Rivers Casino Philadelphia.

Labor Day Block Party

Enjoy some “24K Magic,” “Uptown Funk” and “Treasure” at the Labor Day Fireworks and Festival at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 4, starting at 4 p.m. The free community event will feature a live performance by Uptown Funk, a Bruno Mars tribute band, along with food trucks, fireworks, games and more. The casino’s parking lot will transform into a full-scale Labor Day block party that even includes a pop-up concert stage. This family-friendly event will also have plenty of free parking.

Dave Koz & Friends — Acclaimed saxophonist Dave Koz is bringing the high-octane Summer Horns tour to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Friday, Sept. 17, at 8 p.m. Koz will be joined by jazz/soul/gospel saxophonist Kirk Whalum, jazz/blues saxophonist Mindi Abair, and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Ingala; tickets are $49.

Comedian Aunt Mary Pat — Get ready to laugh, hun. Everyone’s favorite aunt, Aunt Mary Pat, with her recognizable wig, five o’clock shadow and smeared mascara, will perform her engaging stand-up act at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m.; tickets are $20.

Dining and Drink Offerings

Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House — Open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Hugo’s offers guests enticing steaks and more. Guests can enjoy live piano music every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Labor Day Special — On Saturday, Sept. 4, guests can enjoy bourbon barbecue chicken drumsticks with Mexican street corn as well as buffalo shrimp for just $5 each at the Labor Day Block Party. Meanwhile, from Friday, Sept. 3 through Sunday, Sept. 5, enjoy the full bourbon barbecue chicken breast entrée all weekend long featuring creamy Mexican street corn and grilled asparagus for $32.00.

Mian — Currently open from noon to midnight daily, Mian offers guests authentic Asian cuisine and tasty menu items such as vegetable egg rolls, lo mein, fried rice, beef with broccoli and much more.

Jack’s Bar + Grill — Jack’s is open from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday and from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; indoor and outdoor seating is available for guests to enjoy the following mouthwatering specials this September:

Labor Day Special — On Saturday, Sept. 4, Jack’s will be offering tasty options at the Labor Day Block Party, such as the Jack’s burger and the spicy chicken sandwich with sriracha honey for $5 each, as well as pork tacos featuring salsa verde, pickled red onion, queso fresco and veggie tacos for $3 each.

Labor Day Weekend Music — Guests can also enjoy live music inside Jack’s Bar + Grill from Friday, Sept. 3, through Sunday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day.

Young at Heart Special — From noon to 8 p.m. every Monday in September, guests who are 55 years and older are eligible to enjoy a garden salad and soup of the day for just $5. Guests must present their Rush Rewards Player’s Card, with the Young at Heart sticker to redeem this special.

September Special — Guests can enjoy a meatball parmesan sandwich with fries for just $11.99.

Sunday Football Specials — Starting Sunday, Sept. 12, guests can enjoy a variety of tasty eats and more at Jack’s from noon to 10 p.m. during Sunday football games. Promotions, Contests and Sweepstakes

Young at Heart — Rivers Casino’s Young at Heart program is now even better for Rush Rewards Members who are 55 years of age or older. In addition to guests receiving perks such as the $5 Jack’s Bar + Grill special, guests can also receive 2X Bonus Reward Points every Monday.

September Jackpot Sweepstakes — Starting Wednesday, Sept. 1, any guest who hits a taxable jackpot of $1,200 or higher will earn one entry into the September Jackpot Sweepstakes. On Thursday, Sept. 30 at 6 and 8 p.m., five winners will be randomly be selected to win $1,000 in cash.

Rushing for Riches Drawing — Beginning Wednesday, Sept.1, all Rush Rewards Members can earn one entry into the Rushing for Riches drawing for every 50 same-day Tier Points earned. Earned entries will roll over from week to week. Then, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 18 and 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., five winners will be selected every hour to win a variety of prizes, including $5,000 in cash.

Labor Day Harley Davidson Sweepstakes — Starting Thursday, Sept. 2, all Rush Rewards Members can earn one entry into the Labor Day Harley Davidson Sweepstakes for every 50 same-day Tier Points earned. On Monday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., 45 winners will be selected to win their share of over $10,000 in Free Play. Cash Harvest Hot Seat — On Fridays in September from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Rush Rewards Members actively playing with their Rush Rewards Player’s Card at any slot machine will be eligible for the hot seat. One winner will be randomly selected every 30 minutes to win $500 in Free Play or $350 in cash. $10,000 Weekly Baccarat Tournament — Every Friday in September starting at 6 a.m., guests who earn 100 cumulative Tier Points will qualify to participate in the weekly baccarat tournament. Daily High Hands — As Philadelphia’s first poker room, Rivers Casino Philadelphia offers daily high-hand promotions totaling over $225,000 in September. Thunder Thursdays are a highlight of the schedule — guests can win $500 every 30 minutes from noon to midnight. Other featured promotions include $500 high hands every 30 minutes at select times on Fridays and Saturdays, plus $250 every 30 minutes throughout the week.

Tournament Schedule — Weekly no-limit Texas Hold ’em poker tournaments continue in September; the schedule is as follows:

  • Sundays, 11:15 a.m. — $160 Deep Stack NLH ($5,000 guarantee)
  • Mondays, 7:15 p.m. — $130 NLH ($4,000 guarantee)

September Mini Rush — The Rivers Casino Poker Room will host a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool “Mini Rush” No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament from Sept. 24 through Sept. 26 starting at 11:15 a.m. each day.

  • Day 1A: Sept. 24 (30-minute levels)
  • Day 1B: Sept. 25 (30-minute levels)
  • Day 2: Sept. 26 (40-minute levels)

Players will receive 30,000 starting stacks for $350 and may re-enter once per day each day, including on Day 2 when registration closes after Level 14 (approx. 12:35 p.m.) in this big blind ante tournament.
