Laura McAllister Cox
As vice president of regulatory compliance and legal counsel for Rush Street Gaming, LLC, Laura provides corporate oversight for Rush Street’s casinos in all jurisdictions. Additionally, she is responsible for the compliance function of Rush Street Interactive, LLC.
Laura serves as liaison between Rush Street Gaming and various government agencies, including all gaming industry regulators. She monitors changes to federal and state laws and gaming regulations affecting the management, operations, technology and product offerings of Rush Street’s casinos; and provides ongoing compliance support, training and recommendations to property leadership and business partners.
Additionally, Laura devises company-wide compliance strategies and programs in areas of responsible gaming and anti-money laundering. She partners with property-level legal and compliance teams on the creation, maintenance, execution and updating of compliance programs and policies.
A thirty-year industry veteran, Laura has served in private legal practice and as in-house counsel on both the vendor and operations sides of the gaming industry. She is an expert in gaming regulatory practice around the world. In 2005, Casino Enterprise Management named her one of the “Great Women of Gaming,” and she is a longstanding member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors, where she currently serves as president.
Laura is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. She is a member in good standing of the bar in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
