MUSIC TO YOUR EARS: RIVERS CASINO PRESENTS 2015 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Free Shows in Riverfront Amphitheater will Feature Favorite Tribute Bands

PITTSBURGH June 1, 2015 — Rivers Casino is in full swing with a series of concerts taking place throughout the summer for its annual “Live from the Rivers” concert series. Between now and August, guests will be able to enjoy food, drinks and free live music in the casino’s outdoor amphitheater right on the shores of the Ohio River. The fun continues this week with Pittsburgh’s favorite Michael Jackson tribute artist, Who’s Bad, on Friday, June 5.

This year’s lineup also includes:

  • June 19: Head Games (Journey/Bon Jovi/Aerosmith/Foreigner Tribute)
  • June 27: Blues Brotherhood (Blues Brother Tribute)
  • July 3: Pure Gold
  • July 4: No Bad JuJu
  • July 17: Chris Higbee with Special Guest the Hobbs Sisters
  • July 18: Good Vibrations (Beach Boys Tribute)
  • July 31: Asbury Fever Featuring Vini Lopez (Bruce Springsteen Tribute)
  • August 1: Full Moon Fever (Tom Petty Tribute)
  • August 14: Johnny Angel and the Halos with Special Guest Melvin Steals

“There’s no better place in Pittsburgh to enjoy a concert on a summer night,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. “We’re looking forward to an entertaining lineup of live performances.”

Guests will be able to purchase hot-off-the-grill favorites including hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled kielbasa, along with a variety of drinks to enjoy while listening to the live music. Access to the parking garage and casino building is limited to guests ages 21 and up.
