New Modifications Optimize Gaming, Dining and Entertainment Spaces

PITTSBURGHOct. 22, 2012 — Change is in the air this fall, and guests visiting Rivers Casino can see it firsthand throughout the North Shore entertainment destination. Pittsburgh’s casino has started a multi-million dollar construction update that will enhance multiple gaming and dining venues.

All construction is anticipated to be complete by December 2012. Additionally, the gaming offerings will remain the same, nearly 3,000 slots and 116 table games, with the completion of this project.

“We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the overall experience for our players and guests,” Bud Green, assistant general manager of Rivers Casino said. “Gamers will have uninterrupted play and still be able to enjoy our restaurants, lounges and entertainment while we make these updates.”

Here’s what players will enjoy upon completion:

Poker Room

The casino’s 30-table dedicated Poker Room will have a more intimate feel for card players. The entrance will be relocated and will face the garage elevators and Ciao. The front wall, which faces the gaming floor, will be enclosed with glass, eliminating the background noise of the casino for Poker players. In the coming weeks, additional TVs will also be installed throughout the space. New restrooms located inside the Poker Room also are already available to guests.

High Limit Area

High rollers will have an enhanced view of the waterfront and added amenities in the High Limit table games area. The High Limit slots will now be in a separate area from the High Limit tables, allowing for a better flow of traffic and more exclusive play. A private cashier has also been added for High Limit table game transactions. In both the gaming area as well as the 446 Club, new architectural finishes and décor will be added.

Grand View Buffet & Levels

Foodies will be impressed with the new entrance and queuing system at Grand View Buffet on Rivers’ second floor. A new bar fixture as well as a designated lane for Signature Rush Rewards members will keep customers well-served.

All guests will be on the same level in Levels Bar, the center-point of the gaming floor, as the casino reconfigures its multiple entrances and individual lounge spaces to make a single, generous gathering area.
