New Modifications Optimize Players Club, Bus Lobby and Gaming Spaces

PITTSBURGH — October 10, 2013 — Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino has started a more than $1 million property enhancement that will refresh multiple customer service areas as well as the gaming floor. The renovations are anticipated to be complete by end of October.

The most noticeable change will be the new Players Club, which is being expanded to better serve Rivers’ 2.9 million annual guests. The physical space will be larger, allowing Rivers’ Team Members to serve more customers, faster. The Players Club will have additional windows, further illuminating the space, and its location will be easily accessible to the Bus Lobby. Accordingly, the Bus Lobby has been reconfigured and is already operational for those guests arriving by bus.

The gaming options around the new Players Club will also be updated. The expansion of the Players Club opens up space for an additional 24 slot machines. This addition brings the total slot machine count to 2,959.

Rivers has also modified the location of select table games. In the area around West End Café, tables have been rearranged to accommodate future craps and black jack tournaments (pending approval by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board).

“These upgrades are truly geared toward our customers and enhancing their overall experience,” said Bud Green, assistant general manager of Rivers Casino. “Rush Rewards Players Club members will not experience any interruptions in service, and we’re very excited about the additional slot machines and potential for new tournament table offerings.”

Players will also notice some recent changes in the High Limit area. Two black jack tables have been added, and slot machines have been repositioned to allow extra space between the banks of machines, giving players more privacy and a more personalized experience.

Later this year, players can expect to see an expansion in Rivers’ self-service beverage machines. For more information about the gaming and service offerings at Rivers Casino, please visit
