The Only Way in is to Win

PITTSBURGH May 15, 2015 — Y108 8 Man Jam, a special country music celebration sponsored by radio station Y108 (Pittsburgh’s Country) will take place at Rivers Casino on May 21. The only way to attend this exclusive concert will be through winning a ticket from the radio station or through special Facebook contests from Rivers.

Taking place in Rivers’ outdoor amphitheater, Y108 8 Man Jam will feature headliners Montgomery Gentry and Big and Rich, as well as several other country music stars. Winning a ticket is the only way into this exclusive performance and Rivers will be holding a special ticket giveaway for guests on Facebook. Rush Rewards Club Members will be eligible to win tickets at noon on May 15 and 19 by filling out a registration card posted on Rivers’ Facebook page. Five winners will be notified via email and will receive two tickets to the show. (Ticket winners must present a Rush Rewards Club card and a valid photo ID at the Rush Rewards Club to claim their tickets. Tickets are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for any other shows or offers. One entry per person.)

An additional Facebook contest will be held the day before the concert, May 20, when guests will be asked to leave a comment naming their favorite band performing at Y108 8 Man Jam. Three winners will be drawn at random to receive two free tickets. Winners will be notified via Facebook and will be asked to pick up their tickets on the day of the show at the Players Club. (Ticket winners must present a Rush Rewards Club card and a valid photo ID to claim their tickets.)

“We are proud to partner with Y108 to bring big-name entertainment to the ‘Burgh,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino.

Montgomery Gentry has been a staple in country music since the early 1990s, known for hits such as “Something to be Proud of” and “My Town.” Perhaps best known for the song “Save a Horse,” Big and Rich reunited in 2011 after a four-year hiatus. Their latest single, “Look at You,” is currently climbing the country charts.

In addition to Y108 8 Man Jam, Rivers Casino will hold its annual summer concert series, “Live from the Rivers,” featuring food, drinks and some of Pittsburgh’s favorite local acts and tribute bands. Access to the parking garage and casino building will remain limited to guests ages 21 and up.
