André Barnabei Receives Honor from the Pittsburgh Business Times

Pittsburgh— June 25, 2015 —André Barnabei, vice president of human resources at Rivers Casino, was recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as a winner of the 2015 Fast Tracker Awards.

The Fast Tracker Awards annually recognize local business and nonprofit professionals under the age of 40 for exceptional work in their given fields.

André was the second employee hired at Rivers Casino, when plans for the property were still being finalized and before construction had even begun. Since then, he has lead the charge of making Rivers Casino a wonderful place to work for more than 1,700 employees. Under his leadership, Team Members voted Rivers one of the “Best Places to Work” in Pittsburgh.

“No one deserves this award more than André, who has been an integral part of our success from the very beginning,” said Craig Clark, general manager at Rivers Casino. “His unwavering dedication to the Rivers Casino workplace and its Team Members is certainly worthy of this recognition.”

Most recently, André took ownership of the development and launch of a company-wide culture campaign to provide a consistent foundation for all Team Members across the company’s growing portfolio of U.S. casinos. He worked with Team Members from nearly every level, across all departments, to define the “Rush Street Gaming Fundamentals.” These guiding principles are meant to help Team Members identify and embrace what Rush Street Gaming, Rivers’ parent company, is all about.

The 2015 Fast Tracker Awards winners will be recognized in a special supplement of the Pittsburgh Business Times on June 26.

Opened in 2009, Rivers Casino has been voted a 2014 “Best Place to Work” in the Pittsburgh Business Times, “Best Overall Gaming Resort” in Pennsylvania by Casino Player magazine and “Best Overall Casino” in Pennsylvania by Strictly Slots magazine.
