Philly’s Casino is Diving into the Dog Days of Summer with Gaming Promotions and Events
PHILADELPHIA — June 30, 2014 — As temperatures get hotter, so do the awesome gaming promotions and exciting events this July at SugarHouse Casino.
Lunch with a Legend – SugarHouse is offering guests the chance to dine with notable Phillies alumni through its “Lunch with a Legend Sweepstakes,” running now until Sept. 15. Throughout baseball season, SugarHouse will host several luncheons with Philly sports icons, including former Phillies’ manager Charlie Manuel on Saturday, Aug.16.
At each luncheon, 15 winners and their guests will be able to dine with the legend, which includes VIP access, a three-course plated lunch, a signed 8×10 autographed photo and the opportunity to mix, mingle and participate in an exclusive question and answer session. Guests can enter at www.sugarhousecasino.com, by “liking” SugarHouse Casino on Facebook and then entering through the contest portal, or by checking in at any Rush Rewards kiosk. Entries through SugarHouse’s website and Facebook may be submitted one time throughout the promotion, but kiosk entries at the casino can be submitted once per day. Entries are free and cumulative. A later luncheon will feature Roy “Doc” Halladay.
$100K Reel Progressive Payout – Join all the action and jump into the $100,000 Reel Progressive Payout. The progressive jackpot starts at $10,000 and builds as guests play. The jackpot is guaranteed to go off at any time by $100,000, and one person playing with their Rush Rewards Card at that time will be randomly selected to win the cash prize. Since the start, more than $174,000 in jackpots has been paid out.
Free Gas for a Year Sweepstakes – Starting on Tuesday, July 1, guests can earn entries for their chance to win free gas for a year. On Sunday, July 27, between 10 a.m.—8 p.m., one winner will be selected at the top of each hour to receive free gas for a year. Every 15 minutes during that time, three winners will be selected to win $200 cash.
$25K Summer Slot Tournament – Every Tuesday in July, Rush Rewards members are invited to participate in a slot tournament from 2—8 p.m. to compete for a share of more than $5,000 cash and free play. To participate, guests should register and check-in at the tournament desk near The Refinery bar or Rush Rewards Center from 1—7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays. Participants are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The tournament will consist of three, three-minute segments of play per participant, and the players with the top 10 scores will win the cash and free play prizes. As a bonus, everyone who participates in the tournament will receive a summer gift, which could include a beach tote, sunglasses, t-shirt or other prize.
Community Jackpots – Every Saturday in July, when a jackpot hits over $1,200, all guests actively playing with their Rush Rewards card—in the same bank of slot machines as the jackpot winner—will win various amounts of free slot play.
