Casino Brings the Luck of the Irish to Philadelphia with More Ways to Win this Month

PHILADELPHIA — Feb. 28, 2013 — March may be Philadelphians’ lucky month as SugarHouse Casino is offering guests more ways to win with great gaming promotions and delicious dining specials throughout the month.

Gaming Promotions

$1 Million Mega Pick Drawing – Here’s the chance to win $1 million cash with SugarHouse’s mega pick drawing on Saturdays in March and April. Rush Rewards members can visit the kiosks at SugarHouse every day through April 27 to receive one complimentary entry into the drawing. Each entry includes a series of six numbers, which can be randomly selected or chosen by the guest. Then, on Saturdays in March and April, six random numbers will be chosen at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The more matching numbers a guest has on their entry, the more money they win. Match all six and you will go home with the grand prize of $1 million.

Lucky Clover Game – On Wednesdays in March, one guest will be selected every half-hour between noon and 8 p.m. for the opportunity to play the Lucky Clover Game, with the chance to win $10,000 cash. Selected participants will be guaranteed to go home with at least $100 cash.

$5K St. Patrick’s Lucky Hot Seat – Celebrate St. Patty’s Day with SugarHouse on Sunday, March 17. Between noon and 8 p.m., one winner will be selected every hour to receive $500 cash. As a bonus, the winner selected at 8 p.m. will go home with $1,000 cash.

$5K Spring Into Free Play Sweepstakes – On Easter Sunday, March 31, between noon and 8 p.m., one person will be chosen every half-hour to receive $250 free play, and the 8 p.m. winner will win $1,000 free play.

Dining & Beverage Specials

On Sunday, March 17, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The Refinery restaurant and bar with all-things Irish. Listen to the sounds of the Emerald Isle with five-piece live band Jamison Celtic Rock from 2—6 p.m., which will include performances from traditional Celtic rock dancers. Bartenders will be mixing up $6 martinis for the festivities, including a vanilla or chocolate “Shamrock” martini with green crème de menthe, a “Shamrocker,” and a “Leprechaun’s Gold” martini. Plus, favorite Irish foods will be served such as corned beef and cabbage for $13.95, fish and chips for $12.95 and bread pudding with a Jameson drizzle for $4.95.

Join SugarHouse for an Easter brunch on Sunday, March 31 from 10 a.m.—2 p.m. at The Refinery restaurant. Enjoy delicious treats such as carved ham, make your own omelets, hand-dipped French toast, herb baked chicken, assorted desserts and more—all for $19.95.

Spring is almost here and for the third year in a row, SugarHouse is serving as an official sponsor of the Flower Show, continuing its commitment to greening Philadelphia. Flower Show tickets can be purchased at the casino, and SugarHouse will provide free round-trip transportation for guests 21 and over to the Convention Center during show hours. Riders can park for free at the Delaware Waterfront property and catch the shuttle at SugarHouse’s porte-cochere. In addition, Flower Show visitors can stop by SugarHouse’s booth at the Convention Center to take home a free packet of seeds to help green their own backyards.

He’s the “Geator with the Heater” and he’s spinning tunes every week at SugarHouse on Rockin’ with Jerry Blavat Wednesdays. The renowned radio disc jockey and Philadelphia legend performs at The Refinery restaurant from 5—7 p.m.

Every Thursday from 5—8 p.m., bust a move at SugarHouse with DJ Jimmy Lamb, followed by favorite local crooners Eddie Bruce & Friends. Eddie brings classic jazz and swing standards to life with his Thursday appearances from 8 p.m. to midnight in The Refinery.

Wind down from a stressful work week with acoustic duos on Fridays from 6—9:30 p.m. in The Refinery. Then, let loose with SugarHouse’s Friday Night Dance Party until 1 a.m., featuring some of the area’s biggest bands like Don’t Call Me Francis and The Exceptions.

From 6:30—9:30 p.m. get your grove on at SugarHouse as the casino hosts Acoustic Saturdays. The band will strum the night away while you dance to some of your favorite guitar classics. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the laid back acoustic vibe will transform to a dance-heavy party as the Jersey Shore invades! Jersey Shore Invasion will take place every Saturday until 1 a.m.
