Gobble Up Gaming and Fun at Philly’s Casino this November


PHILADELPHIA — Oct. 31, 2014 — Count down to turkey day with exciting games and celebrations at SugarHouse Casino. From the “Community Jackpots,” to the “Thanksgiving Eve Party,” it’s time to gobble up the fun this month.



Gaming Promotions


$100K Reel Progressive Payout – Join all the action and jump into the $100,000 Reel Progressive Payout. The progressive jackpot starts at $10,000 and builds as guests play. The jackpot is guaranteed to go off at any time by $100,000, and one person playing with their Rush Rewards Card at that time will be randomly selected to win the cash prize. Since the start, more than $245,000 in jackpots has been paid out.


$50,000 Fantasy Football Challenge – Fantasy Football has never been better thanks to SugarHouse’s $50,000 Fantasy Football Challenge. Throughout football season, Rush Rewards members can select their weekly fantasy football picks for free at SugarHouse. Participants can play up to eight times per week, and their highest scoring entry will be counted toward a weekly ranking. At the end of each week, guests can visit the Fantasy Football kiosk to see if they’ve won one of the weekly prizes of up to $2,500 cash. The overall season winner with the highest total score will have a shot at going to the big game in 2015.


$100K Buzzer Beater Challenge – During 10 Philadelphia 76ers games through March 29, 2015, one lucky fan will have the chance to participate in a shooting challenge to win a cash prize at each game. Participants can enter the contest by submitting their email address and phone number. The winner will be selected randomly and notified via email or phone 24 hours before the game’s start time. When the winner is notified, they will be instructed on what Buzzer Beater Challenge they will need to complete in order to win. They will then compete during a break in play at the Wells Fargo Center for a chance to win $100,000.


Community Jackpots – Every Saturday in November, when a jackpot hits over $1,200, all Rush Rewards members playing in the same bank of machines as the winner, will receive free slot play.


$50K Lincoln Peel & Drive Sweepstakes – Starting on Nov. 1, guest can earn entries for a chance to have a share of more than $10,000 free slot play, cash or a 2015 Lincoln MKC SUV. Guests must check in at a promotional kiosk beginning at 3 p.m. on Nov. 26 to activate entries. On Wednesday Nov. 26, between 5—10 p.m., two winners will be announced every half-hour, leading up to the finale drawing at 10:30 p.m. At the finale, 20 winners will receive an oversized key-shaped pull tab that will reveal a prize.


Play & Earn ShopRite Gift Cards – On Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22, from 6 a.m.—10 p.m., guests can earn points redeemable for a ShopRite gift card. One point is equal to $1 in gift cards. Guests can visit a Rush Rewards kiosk to redeem points from 10 a.m.—10 p.m.


Play & Earn Macy’s Gift Cards – On Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29, from 6 a.m.—10 p.m., guests can earn points redeemable for a Macy’s gift card. One point is equal to $1 in gift cards. Guests can visit a Rush Rewards kiosk to redeem points from 10 a.m.—10 p.m.


New Member Promotion – This month, guests who sign-up for a Rush Rewards card and play $10 on a slot or video machine on the same day, will receive $25 free slot play. All free slot play will be automatically downloaded onto the guest’s Rush Rewards card.

Food & Beverage Specials


Thanksgiving at The Refinery – Guests can celebrate turkey day at SugarHouse Casino on Nov. 27 with a $14.99 prix fixe menu at The Refinery. Guests have a choice between white or dark meat turkey; roasted baby Yukon gold potatoes or mashed sweet potatoes; and pumpkin cheesecake, apple pie with a lattice top or carrot cake. Every order will also include green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and gravy on the side.


Eagles Game Day Specials – Embrace your inner football foodie during Eagles games at The Refinery and Lucky Red. Enjoy $2 Bud Light drafts during every Birds game and receive a free souvenir glass. For $5, guests can munch on game day favorites like mini buckets of wings, loaded fries, pork sliders and of course, the famous Philly cheesesteak.


Happy Hour – Enjoy Happy Hour at SugarHouse Casino every week, Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 5—8 p.m. Specials include $2 beer, $3 wine and $4 cocktails, plus half-priced appetizers.



Events & Entertainment


Thanksgiving Eve Party – On Wednesday Nov. 26, ring in the unofficial start to the holiday season at SugarHouse. From 6—9:30 p.m., the Big House Band will entertain guests with live music that’s not to be missed. Plus, celebrate with 50-cent wings and $2 Bud Light specials.


Philly Pheud – SugarHouse Casino is the official host of PHL17’s Philly Pheud, a game show hosted by Mike Missanelli, where teams of four compete for prizes by answering Philly-themed trivia questions. This month, the filming of the game show will take place in The Refinery restaurant on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 7—10 p.m. Competing teams will win various prizes including $1,000 cash for the first place team and $100 free play for each participant of the second place team. Anyone 21 or older is invited to sit in the audience and will receive $10 free play if they are a new Rush Rewards member, a Philly Pheud-branded gift, as well as access to happy hour specials in The Refinery.
