Philly’s Casino Kicks Off Fall with More Ways to Win
PHILADELPHIA — Oct. 1, 2013 — This October guests will have a scary good time at SugarHouse — from new promotions to live events and great music, there are no tricks and only treats this month at Philly’s casino.
Jeremiah Trotter’s $150K Pigskin Payout – Back for another season is SugarHouse’s extremely popular football kiosk sweepstakes, “Jeremiah Trotter’s $150K Pigskin Payout.” Anyone with a Rush Rewards Card is eligible to play each week throughout the regular season and it’s completely free.
Guests can swipe their cards at one of the kiosks at SugarHouse and make their picks of which NFL teams they anticipate winning each week—without having to guess a point spread. There is also a “quick pick” option for football novices, where the computer makes the selections. Cash prizes of $5,000 will be given away weekly for the guests with the most correct picks, and there will even be one random, lucky wildcard winner.
At the end of the season on Jan. 5, 2014, the guest with the most correct picks will win $50,000 cash, and second through fifth place will also earn cash prizes.
$10K Oktoberfest Sweepstakes – Celebrate Oktoberfest at SugarHouse on Saturday, Oct. 12. Starting at 6 a.m., guests playing with their Rush Rewards Card are eligible to earn entries to win a trip to Munich, Germany or $5,000 cash. Winners will be announced every hour between noon and 8 p.m.
$25K Discover America Sweepstakes – Through Columbus Day, Oct. 14, guests can earn entries for the $25K Discover America Sweepstakes. On Columbus Day, one winner will be selected every hour from noon until 8 p.m. to spin the prize wheel. The wheel will land on a symbol that will reveal the iconic American vacation destination to which they’ve won a trip. The symbol will also have a matching envelope with a trivia question inside. If the guest answers it correctly, they will win an additional $500 cash.
$100K Flyers Rapid Fire Promotion – SugarHouse Casino is offering guests and hockey fans the chance to not only be at center ice during a Flyers game at the Wells Fargo Center, but an opportunity to score $100,000 cash as well. Anyone 21 or over can enter for free on SugarHouse’s Facebook page through Oct. 16. One lucky winner will receive two tickets to the Flyers game versus the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, Oct. 17.
In between periods, the selected contestant will be invited to center ice where 25 hockey pucks will be lined up. The winner will have a chance to shoot each puck from behind the center ice line into an empty net. For every shot made, the contestant will win $200. If he or she makes 15 shots in 20 seconds, they’ll score themselves $100,000 cash.
$15K Wicked Winning Sweepstakes and Halloween Contest – Celebrate all Hallows Eve and dip your hand into SugarHouse’s Witch’s Cauldron. Starting Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5—10 p.m., one winner will be selected to pick from the Witch’s Cauldron and win their share of $10,000 free play. If the contestant arrives dressed in their best Halloween costume, the prize doubles. As a bonus, winners can register for the Costume Contest to win their share of $5,000 cash. Guests who are not selected to pick from the cauldron but still would like to be a part of the contest, can register at Rush Rewards between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Judging will take place at 10:30 p.m., and the winner will be selected based on audience applause.
