Former Eagles Quarterback Comes to Philly’s Casino to Meet Lucky Fans

PHILADELPHIA – Oct. 6, 2014 – Football season is well underway, and while we cheer on the current team, SugarHouse Casino is inviting fans to mix and mingle with a legend of the past. On Saturday, Oct. 18, 100 lucky fans will have the opportunity to attend a special event with former Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham at Philly’s Casino.

Guests can enter to win at through Oct. 13, and winners will be notified on Oct. 14. Winners and a guest will receive an all-access pass to enjoy a party with the former quarterback. The lucky guests will not only have the chance to meet the Eagles great, but they’ll also be able to take a professional photo with Cunningham and have one personal item autographed.

And of course, no football party would be complete without some tailgating. Guests will be treated to a free drink and complimentary tailgate buffet, and will have access to drink specials at The Refinery throughout the event. Plus, guests also have the choice of receiving either $10 free slot play or $25 free match play.

“Randall Cunningham was one of the most exciting players to watch in franchise history,” general manager, Wendy Hamilton, said. “We love being able to provide fans with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. How many quarterbacks can say they’ve punted 91 yards? And, how many fans can say they’ve met the quarterback who did it?”

Cunningham was selected in the second round of the 1985 draft, and played 11 seasons with the Eagles. He retired in 1996 to pursue a career in broadcasting, but returned to the game from 1997 until 2002, when he officially retired as an Eagle. Cunningham is a four-time Pro Bowler and a three-time Bert Bell award winner. He was inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame in 2009.
