Rush Street Gaming and Rivers Casino have a longstanding history of supporting the communities in which we operate. We have branded this ongoing initiative as ‘Rivers Gives.’ The key pillars of Rivers Gives are volunteerism, board service, donation drives, in-kind contributions and corporate giving. Through Rivers Gives, each Rivers Casino annually contributes approximately 2,000 volunteer hours per property to local nonprofit partners. Across their operating markets, Rivers Casino and Rush Street Gaming annually contribute approximately $14 million to local nonprofit partners and various community groups.

We collaborate with local businesses, business groups and chambers of commerce during the development and operating phases to educate our vendor community with the strict regulatory requirements that govern the casino industry. We prioritize local vendors and host vendor fairs for local businesses to educate them about our buying needs.

EXCELLENCE IN SUSTAINABILITY PRACTICES
Rush Street Gaming is the developer of the first LEED Gold certified casino in the US. We seek to continuously advance the design, construction, and operation of our properties to reduce their environmental footprint. Our industry-leading experience and record of accomplishment and innovation guides our development practices.
Examples of sustainable practices include using less water and natural gas, waste recycling, growing plants, including free EV charging stations, and using energy-efficient lighting.

Rush Street Gaming worked hard to fulfill its commitments that were made during the application process and worked with the city and county to design and build a project to make Des Plaines proud. Rivers Casino Des Plaines is the first casino in the country to be LEED GOLD certified.
RIVERS CASINO & RESORT SCHENECTADY
Rush Street Gaming worked hard to fulfill its commitments that were made during the application process and worked with the city and county to design and build a project to make Schenectady proud. Construction started in late 2015 as the licensing process neared competition and Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady opened in February 2017.
