Judy Gold
Managing Director, Legal and Government Affairs
Judy Gold has been a Managing Director, Legal and Government Affairs at Rush Street since December 2020. Prior to joining Rush Street, she was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP for 15 years, where she advised companies and senior executives on corporate communications, public affairs, crisis communications, reputation management, and public strategies.
Gold began her legal career in 1989 at Altheimer & Gray, where she was an associate and later became a partner. She has also served in numerous public policy roles throughout her career, including in Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Cabinet as Chief of Policy for the City of Chicago, as a member of the Illinois State Board of Education, and as Chair of the Illinois Commission on the Status of Women.
Gold devotes significant time to service for nonprofit organizations, including currently serving as a member of the boards of directors of Columbia College Chicago, the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Chicago Civic Federation. She earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
