“Come on Down” to Rivers Casino Portsmouth for Virginia's first-ever The Price is Right contestant search. In partnership with WTKR News 3, the casting event will take place on Friday, Nov. 15, at The Event Center. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., with participants lining up as early as 7 a.m. Wristbands will be distributed in order of arrival, and registration ends at 6 p.m.
Casting producers will select two participants from the event to win a trip to Los Angeles for a taping of The Price is Right with Drew Carey — including a guaranteed spot for one local standout on 'Contestant’s Row.' Rivers Casino Portsmouth Earns Hampton Roads Community Service Award
Recognized as one of the most community-minded companies in Hampton Roads, Rivers Casino has once again been named an honoree of The Civic 50 Hampton Roads by VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. This award underscores Rivers Casino’s dedication to community service through Rivers Gives, the casino’s ongoing community engagement initiative. To date, the casino has donated over $1.3 million through corporate giving and more than 2,000 volunteer hours.
