VOLUNTEERS WITH ACH CLEAR PATHWAYS
PITTSBURGH — Feb. 21, 2023 — “Rivers Gives” volunteers from Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will be spreading the love this February by lending a hand at ACH Clear Pathways on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m. The Rivers Gives team will support the nonprofit by assisting with organizing, sorting, and cleaning within the facility which is located in the Historic Hill District. In addition, casino volunteers will be helping ACH to prepare and set up for an upcoming fundraiser which is a Franco Harris tribute.
ACH Clear Pathways is a nonprofit committed to providing enriching and new experiences to youth and families through visual and performing arts. They recognize the uniqueness of each person and are committed to providing an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, respected and appreciated.
“We’re looking forward to getting out to the ACH facility and lending a helping hand to sort through and organize materials within the building,” said Dr. Rahmon Hart, director of community relations at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. “We’re lucky that the Rivers Gives team can volunteer each month at different organizations throughout the city.”
“This month, ACH Clear Pathways is excited to welcome the Rivers Gives team to our facility. Their volunteer hours that they’ll spend here mean the world to us, and will really help us get stuff done,” said Danai Battle, Program Director of ACH Clear Pathways.
Rivers Gives is the casino’s long-running community outreach program, in which casino Team Members report to work at a local nonprofit instead of the gaming floor. To kick off 2023, Rivers Gives volunteers worked with Northside Common Ministries to prepare produce for client distribution.
