$550,000 guaranteed over three events: Main Event, Little Rush and Mystery Rush
PHILADELPHIA — Jan. 31, 2023 —The Philadelphia Poker Championship Series will feature $550,000 in guaranteed prize pools over 22 days at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The packed schedule includes the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event as well as the popular Mystery Rush ($200,000) and Little Rush ($100,000) tournaments. The series runs from Sunday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, March 12.
“Rivers Casino always offers quality structures, and we know this series will attract players from the Philadelphia region and beyond,” said Jim Moore, Rivers Casino manager of poker operations. “Our price points will appeal to both our daily grinders as well as no-limit players looking for a higher buy-in that will lead to outstanding prize pools.”
Buy-ins for the PPCS events range from $180 to $2,200, and players will have many opportunities to satellite into the Main Event and Mystery Rush tournaments which includes a guaranteed top bounty prize of $25,000. All three events will be two-day tournaments, with multiple Day One starting flights and longer levels on Day Two.
“Don’t miss this event! The PPCS gives Rivers everyday players and other East Coast players bigger buy-in events, which are hard to find this time of year,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia.
